Already a 3rd year varsity player as a freshman, Brophy’s increase in role & production was one of Section 2’s most impressive this year… averaged 17.2 PPG, including a 38 point outburst, good for 17th in the section… was an All-Wasaren League 2nd team selection, one of four freshmen to earn all-league honors in what’s shaping up to be a bright future in the Wasaren… also was a Daily Gazette all-area honorable mention & Section2basketball.com Class C all-area 3rd team pick, and earned a NYSSWA Class C All-State honorable mention nod… 1st full year in EST – saw action in 3 weeks last summer as a rising freshman.
